To implement the “Outline of National Integrated Circuit Industry Development” and “Notice on Supporting the Construction of Demonstrative Schools of Microelectronics”, a meeting was held at UCAS in Yanqihu campus on November 27-28.The meeting was organized by the Division of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, and sponsored by Institute of Microelectronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IMECAS). Mr. ZHANG Daliang, Director of Bureau of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, attended the meeting and gave an address. More than 120 representatives from Ministry of Education, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, China International Talent Exchange Foundation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. The Experts Group of demonstrative schools of microelectronics, universities involving in the program of the demonstrative schools of microelectronics attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Mr. WU Aihua, who is a director of Division of Science and Technology, Bureau of Higher Education, Ministry of Education.
The Demonstrative School of Microelectronics Alliance (DSMA) was founded at the meeting. A council, memberships and constitution of the alliance were approved by the DSMA. UCAS was a member of the council. The secretariat office of DSMA was located in SME of UCAS.
